Chris is 28!! So of course we wanted to get good friends together and get outside. Hanging at Wekiva Island was crazy busy, but tons of fun. Even though it's summer, the water is always 72 degrees, and I'm SUCH a little freeze baby. I inched my way in at the side of the boardwalk down algae-covered slippery ladder.. But made it alive. Ha! No but it was super refreshing once in there. We took fun photos, played with dogs jumping in the water, hung by the tiki bar, and even ran into other friends unexpectedly.
Later that night we wrapped up the day with some dinner at a restaurant near the large ferris wheel. Being in the sun & water all day, the large meal was SO yummy.
I seriously love eating, love the springs, and love this birthday boy.
